Thinking about Christmas?

On November 20th and 21st we are once again selling our lovely Christmas gifts at The Mount Hotel, Mount Rd, Tettenhall. Last year it was so successful as a new venture that this year it takes place over two days rather than one.

The bar is open, there's a BBQ outside with a fire pit, the wine is flowing and all will be festive in the Great Hall - a spectacular feast of William Morris design in itself. Don't forget to put the date in your diary!

It's C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S !

It's nearly Christmas - it's a big time for us. The ULTIMATE in seasonal decorating.

Our next two sales are at Bridgnorth Christmas Market this Sunday (8th December). It's in the High Street 10am - 4pm. A wonderful opportunity for gifts!! We have some lovely handmade items for you to decorate your home with. Unique designs, all of them!

Next Wednesday (11th December) we are at The Mount Hotel, Tettenhall, where there is a lovely German Market in the Great Hall which is William Morris design and fabulously ornate.

 There will be frankfurters on a BBQ on the deck and marshmallows for toasting in a fire pit. Mulled wine, plenty of food and some festive stalls will really get you in the mood!
The market runs from 4 - 9pm

Rustic Pumpkin Comes To Wombourne, Staffs

We are very excited to be part of the Wombourne Quilt Show which is being held at the Library and Community Centre in the heart of Wombourne, Staffordshire.

We will have some early Christmas goodies and also plenty of autumnal offerings for sale

Wizards and witches, pumpkins and scarecrows made with gorgeous fabrics and British wools make fabulous gifts.

Snap up some lovely Christmas goodies and get ahead

 Or just come and have a chat, buy some fabric with the other vendors, view the wonderful exhibition and have some CAKE!!

Come along today to the first Rustic Pumpkin outing. We have a stall at Tettenhall Wood Institute Summer Garden Party with lots of lovely hand made goodies.
There will be plenty of opportunities to buy gifts and for the children to play games, have their faces painted and some lovely cakes and Indian munchies. Lots for the family to see and do.
We will be there with our wizards, witches, snowmen, bunnies etc.
 and some little hand made giftettes!

Welcome to the first post of our new venture Rustic Pumpkin!

Today is the day of the Summer Solstice. The longest day of the year for us in the Northern Hemisphere. Feeling slightly witchy myself I'm posting a picture of the latest addition to the Rustic Pumpkin range - the Purple Witch!

You can see more of the range via the link at the top of the page. All our characters are handmade and are weighted for use as doorstops if desired. We use natural materials - cotton and British wool and have had such a lot of fun making them.
There are wizards too - not just for Halloween but for all those with a magical outlook on life!

On August 10th we are selling at our first fair hosted by The Institute, Tettenhall Wood, Wolverhampton - Middle England. They celebrate their 120th anniversary - see Events Page for details of a fun day out.

On September 21st we are selling at a wonderful fair hosted by Wombourne Quilters at their grand three yearly exhibition. Click here for details. If you are in Staffordshire or the West Midlands come for a lovely day out - there will probably be cricket on the green and church bells ringing!
