In 2013 Tracy Underwood and Clare Wassermann took the plunge! Every year after making gifts for Christmas and having made numerous quilts for our families and our own houses we always say "We should have a stall at a fair". Well now we have gone for it!!

We have been making rabbits, snowmen, wizards, witches and Santas like fury since February and they have been selling to all who see them. So far we have hardly kept up with demand but now we are on track and have a few events planned for the Autumn. These will be posted on the Events page.

Now we have other gifts such as cards, brooches and hanging houses, hearts and trees to add to your gift selection.

    STALL HOLDER OPPORTUNITY
    I am writing to you from Compton Hospice to offer you the opportunity to hire a pitch at our upcoming food and craft festival at DK Rugby Club Kingswinford West Midlands on the 10th June 2017. The event will take place between 12 and 6pm and is ideally located within walking distance of Wallheath, Kingswinford and Swindon so we expect a healthy footfall of visitors on the day.
    Every year, Compton Hospice provides specialist care for around 1,500 people suffering from life-limiting illnesses both at the hospice itself and out in the community. As well as offering an inpatient unit, daycare facilities – where patients can socialise and meet those in a similar situation to themselves- community nurses and a Lymphoedema clinic, we also provide bereavement support clinics who work to provide free counselling services that allow young people in particular, to explore their grief and emotions in a safe place.

    Our catchment area covers over 1.6 million people across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire and providing these services costs over £6million each year. Government funding covers just one third of this and the hospice relies heavily on our own fundraising to provide the rest, which is why we hold these events. Proceeds from pitch hire will go towards the continuing care of our patients.
